Kirdaar

The couple drawn as picture-book characters, in a new outfit for every function.

Kirdaar means the characters. Advait and Kiara are painted in warm gouache as two big-headed picture-book people, and they change clothes on every page: jeans and a coffee cup, haldi yellows, a kediyu and chaniya choli, the sherwani and lehenga, then a bandhgala and gown for the reception.

The invitation reads like a comic strip of the wedding week. Guests open an envelope the two climb out of, slide to dress them up, read the love story in three panels and land on four function pages, each in its own paper colour.

Signature animations

• Envelope opening the characters rise out of, skippable after 2s
• Drag to dress them up: everyday clothes crossfade into wedding outfits and unlock the muhurat
• Love story as three rotated comic panels with envelope and dandiya props
• Four themed function pages, each with its own painted plate and its own couple cutout
