Their Story
The introduction
Their mothers met at a Quran circle and traded exactly one photo each. Both said no to five others and yes to this one meeting.
The chai
Chaperoned by two aunts and a very bored younger brother, they talked for three hours. The samosas went cold. Nobody noticed.
The dua
Both families prayed istikhara. Both hearts settled. Alhamdulillah, the date was set before the month ended.
