Our Story

  1. The horoscopes

    Ten porutham matched. The grandmothers were satisfied before the couple had exchanged a word. The word exchange went even better.

  2. The filter coffee

    First meeting at a Mylapore cafe under heavy family surveillance. Second meeting, somehow, unsupervised. Both agreed the coffee was better the second time.

  3. The nichayathartham

    Plates of fruit, silk sarees, and an engagement fixed to the exact auspicious minute. Amma cried. Both ammas cried.
